Just over 8 yrs ago I hated father's day, my dad passed in 2020, but that flipped when I became a dad. The greatest privilege, blessing and source of wow is my son. We had a brilliant day full of memories and love.

Another weekend filled with fun, challenges lessons and blessings. My 7 year old teacher can be so very wise and so very trying all in the same moments. I would give my every breath for him, instantly. These alternate Sundays are the same, joy and pain in equal measure as he returns to his mother, I console my heart that its just 2 nights. By the way his team won, he scored a goal and assisted his team mates in some great play / skills.

A perfect Sunday morning, Emsworth Terrors U7 won their first league game, Balthazar was a goal scorer, great team play, good competition, this football malarkey is growing on me.
