Unbelievable…

We are a family-run business and usually keep our posts light-hearted but the reality is hospitality businesses are being pushed to breaking point by Stormont.
We were told on Thursday that our business rates NAV (rateable value) has increased by £43,600 / 165%. Businesses cannot simply absorb costs like this.
We are predicting at least £25,000 will be added onto our rates bill this year.
We’ve been a proud part of the Enniskillen community for 81 years but when a fixed cost almost doubles overnight, it puts businesses in an impossible situation.
It seems our Executive is completely out of touch with reality 🤯
We do not expect preferential treatment - we’re simply asking Stormont to moderate the scale of these increases before long-term damage is done which may be irreparable…
