detailed update on the ongoing scaffolding installation at Drayton Park, which is crucial for facilitating the cladding remediation works.
Our dedicated team of AMA operatives continues to work diligently and with the utmost commitment to ensure the efficient progression of this project. A core principle at all times is the unwavering commitment to safety, both for our skilled workforce on-site and, crucially, for the general public in the surrounding areas.
We are pleased to report substantial advancements, particularly concerning Phase 1 of the scaffolding installation. The er****on of scaffolding for both the A1 and A2 elevations is now nearing 100% completion, marking a significant milestone. Following this, we are on schedule for the installation of the first hoist to the A1 elevation on Monday, the 11th, which will further support the efficiency of the remediation efforts.

What a truly fantastic day we had at the Oval all thanks to AMA Scaffolding’s incredible hospitality event! It was brilliant to step away from the usual routine and enjoy a thrilling test match between England and India. Personally, I had an absolute blast, soaking in the atmosphere and cheering on both teams.

But beyond the excitement of the game, this day was a truly valuable experience for us. It offered a wonderful opportunity to connect with some of our clients outside of the typical business setting. At AMA, we firmly believe in nurturing strong, personal working relationships. These hospitality events are our way of showing genuine appreciation for your continued repeat business, and unwavering support. At the ongoing development at Drayton Park, our recent operations showcased a strategic approach to enhancing efficiency and safety. To facilitate the transport of scaffolding materials to the rear elevation, a crane was employed. This decision delivered significant operational advantages.

The application of crane effectively eradicated the need for extensive manual handling, thereby reducing associated risks and improving site safety.
Crucially, it eliminated the need of transporting materials through the garages below and manually lifting them to height. This approach not only streamlined material flow but also yielded substantial cost savings by reducing manual labor expenses, concurrently boosting overall productivity, and accelerating our client’s project timeline.

The success of today’s lifting operations was a result of exceptional teamwork.
Every member, from management to scaffold operatives and yard staff, demonstrated unwavering commitment. Management actively engaged, “rolling up their sleeves” to assist wherever needed. My contribution involved assisting with rigging and slinging, while Archie Unstead, AMA Operations Manager, played a crucial role in planning material laydown areas, aiding operatives with stacking materials, motivated the team and ensuring the entire team remained hydrated and supported throughout the day with teas, coffees and cold drinks.

This truly was a brilliant team effort by all involved. We extend our sincere thanks to every individual for their dedication and professionalism, and a special acknowledgment to DSM Contract Lifting Services for their invaluable support
