After a very long time of planning, creating, tinkering, tweaking, deleting things I shouldn’t have, sobbing, and starting again, my new website is live!

It’s been a very steep learning curve and tested every bit of my patience, built in the small gaps of time between everything else, but I’m actually quite proud of it.

Very excited to be able to announce that I'm developing my counselling practice further by training to become an EMCC Senior Practitioner Coach (European Mentoring and Coaching Council - one of the three main professional coaching bodies in the UK and Europe). Day 22! What I’ve learnt from posting daily on socials this month.

Showing up every day on social media for my advent calendar has been…interesting! Here’s what I’ve learnt:

✨ Batch-creating is a brilliant idea... that I’m terrible at. I have a talent for second-guessing anything I pre-prepare, which inevitably leads to redoing everything. Which leads me to -

✨ Perfection isn’t the goal. Some of my simplest posts have connected the most. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about being real (which, ironically, takes much less time).

✨ Consistency builds confidence. The more I’ve posted, the easier it’s become to hit ‘share.’

✨ You don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Repurposing ideas, simplifying content, and saying the same thing in a new way? I’m there.

If you’ve been holding back from posting, let this be your reminder: you don’t need to do it all (or every day), just start and show up as yourself.
