So wonderful to return to in-person networking on Friday in Epsom, Surrey, after the summer break. A lovely mix of diehard attendees and newcomers, with a diverse range of businesses, expertise and skillsets.

I love to hear of businesses reaching milestones - Hannah Estelle Nelson's Bodhi Eden turned three on Friday; Sarah Collins Consulting business turned two last week.

Everyone hopes to gain a client or two from networking. But networking is so much more.

Small Business Collab's mantra is Connect, Collaborate and Build a Community. ON Friday, I saw connections that resulted in a post-networking brunch between two attendees; a collaboration (a yoga and running collab coming to Epsom with Delaney Dawson and Hannah Estelle Nelson) and many attendees mentioned how they had missed and how much they value the community-building aspect of networking.

We had a great talk from Seun Opanubi BEng on the importance of being careful how you use the time you gain from AI; how to strategise your AI in your business, which, in turn, sparked a debate on AI use; ethics and individual's experiences.

If you couldn't make Friday's event, then we are back in Epsom on Friday 16th October, where I will be welcoming Claire Smith from Studio 5 to talk about Instagram. As Instagram is one of my focuses coming up, I'm particularly interested to hear her talk.

Sarah Collins and I will be returning to our South-West-London-based LinkedIn Local - Wimbledon, Wandsworth & Putney networking this week at The Caddi Club at 10am on Friday 18th September. Are you ready?
It's time to get back to the in-person networking circuit and the Small Business Co-Llab is kicking things off with two networking this meetings this month.

Join us in Epsom this Friday, 11th September, for informal networking and a great talk by Seun Opanubi BEng on how to use AI strategically. We are meeting at the Caballo Lounge at 9am. It's relaxed and friendly, so if you are new to networking, this is a great place to start.

Then on Friday 18th, Sarah Collins and I have a return to our Wimbledon networking, meeting at the Caddi Club at 10am. Meet small business owners across Wimbledon, Wandsworth and Putney areas and beyond.

The Small Business Co-Llab exists to help you connect, collaborate and build a small community. Come along and try it out for yourselves.
