It arrived at our Derbyshire saleroom in nothing more than a thin white carrier bag... and turned out to be a stunning circa 1905 William Moorcroft for Liberty & Co. Claremont design double gourd vase.

Expertly identified by our 20th Century Art & Design specialist, Katy Beardmore, this beautiful example of early Moorcroft pottery has now been consigned to our Autumn 20th Century Art & Interiors Auction with an estimate of £800–£1,200.

It's a wonderful reminder that valuable and desirable antiques can often be hiding in the most unexpected places.

Working directly alongside our Head of Media & Marketing, you'll help drive marketing activity for one of the UK's best-known auction houses, supporting salerooms, specialist departments and valuation events across the country.

No two days are the same. One day you could be creating content with television antiques experts, the next filming auction highlights, designing promotional campaigns, running Meta ads, editing videos, creating graphics, promoting events, writing social media content and helping to tell the stories behind some incredible discoveries.

We're looking for someone who:
✔ Has strong social media experience
✔ Is confident using Canva
✔ Can create engaging photo and video content
✔ Has experience with photography and editing
✔ Understands Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
✔ Is highly organised and able to manage multiple projects
✔ Works well independently and as part of a team
✔ Brings energy, creativity and fresh ideas

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role with plenty of variety and the opportunity to work across a nationally recognised brand.
