Fortunately it looks like another Scam email doing the rounds....

Nothing to worry about if you have our supplied Internet Security on the machine. Just check that it is on the most up to date version. If the mentioned malware did try to get on your machine you'd be protected.

Phone Scammers Targeting Evesham Area - NOW

We've received a number of calls in this week from customers who've been contacted over the phone by people claiming to be from BT, TalkTalk, etc.. wanting to take control of the computer.

For anyone that knows, this is obviously a scam.

Unfortunately not everyone is so tech-savvy and will fall victim to these fraudsters, often costing hundreds of pounds.
They are often not on facebook or the internet much to be aware.

Please let anyone that you know who maybe vulnerable to these scammers to just ignore the calls and put the phone down (often they can be too polite to put the phone down).

Any cold call that wants to take control of the computer WILL BE A SCAM. Internet companies have enough incoming calls to deal with, to start ringing up customers for more unpaid work.

One of the simplest ways to get rid of them is to play dumb. Tell them that you "don't have a computer", or ask "What's an internet?"

There’s nothing to worry about.

If you know anyone using WhatsApp you might pass on this. A colleague has advised that a video comes out tomorrow from WhatsApp called martinelli do not open it , it hacks your phone and nothing will fix it. Spread the word.
