At the age of 61, having written CV's for myself (and a few close family members) for over 38 years, I decided to use my knowledge and ability to try and help others to get that all-important interview. In 2016, having studied the job market in some detail, I applied for around 25 relevant positions and achieved 13 interviews (not bad for a 60 year old, I hear you say). For one reason, or another,
I wasn't offered a position, although I came very close on a couple of occasions. However, this experience inspired me to find a way to help others achieve their aims. Obviously, getting an interview is the main objective of a well written and structured CV, the rest is up to you. There are many organisations offering to assess and develop your CV, but the costs of such a service can be very high.
