Housekeeping Manager

This role is responsible for leading our housekeeping team based at our offices in Exeter. We require a keen eye for presentation and attention to detail, a warm and approachable customer-focused manner and an appetite to understand and deliver our sustainability goals. Duties include:

Being visible and the face of housekeeping services within the building.
Direct management and supervision of the in-house cleaning team.
Ensure immaculate cleaning standards are presented throughout.
Reporting and acting on any issues that require attention.
Delivering a program of consistent improvement.
Ordering and Managing Cleaning equipment and stock.
Monitoring, operating site security systems, including opening or closing the building at end of the day.
Meeting health and safety standards throughout the building, including fire regulations.
Participating in emergency planning and training, to play an active part in any emergency procedures.

Exceptional customer service skills and approach
Proven management/team leadership experience
PC literate, with PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Word skills
Excellent problem-solving skills; good judgement; can think outside of the norm
Self- motivated; able to work on own initiative
Team player; by working closely with colleagues you will be constantly striving to improve the environment within Oxygen House
An excellent communicator who is happy in dealing with senior management along with team members
Ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of people/customers at different levels; approachable individual with a professional manner
Practical in nature; able to get things done
Awareness of health & safety procedures

YOUR MISSION

We're looking for an IT Support Apprentice to join our IT team and learn how to promote, support, and develop our IT service for our users. In this role, you will become familiar with our Microsoft based environment and use your knowledge and experience to play a key role in the support of cloud services, server infrastructure, business systems and software, and provide exceptional support to our internal users. You will learn how to become an expert in our IT systems and ensure you can support and resolve issues for our users, seeking out innovative and effective solutions that
improve our users’ experience. We’re looking for someone who is an excellent problem solver, can work quickly and proactively to ensure the success of our users while lowering our carbon footprint and reducing our environmental impact.

Job requirements

• We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow their skills, rather than having specific experience.
• You should be excited to learn how to provide excellent IT support, both in person and virtually.
• You will learn how to use a helpdesk system to log, prioritize and record information on resolving tickets. Managing workload and priorities, using and building upon a knowledge base.
• You will learn how to troubleshoot and problem-solve IT issues, taking ownership of them and seeing them through to conclusion.
• You will learn how to support a Microsoft 365 and Azure AD environment, including Endpoint Management (InTune), Exchange online, Teams, SharePoint, Security & Compliance, and relevant training / qualifications such as Microsoft Certification.
• You will learn how to support Microsoft Azure Cloud services and virtual servers
• You will learn about Cyber and Information Security, including security frameworks such as Cyber Essentials.
• You will learn about Networking, voice communications, and WiFi, gaining valuable knowledge in these areas.
