Project Completed: Bath Police Station 🚔

We were delighted to recently complete a specialist fencing project for Beard Construction at Bath Police Station.

Beard Construction has completed the major refurbishment of Plymouth House on Monmouth Street, creating Bath’s new central police station. Officially opened on 12 August 2026, the facility brings the city’s neighbourhood policing, response and district teams together under one roof.

As part of the project, our team installed bespoke SR2-rated security fencing and a matching access gate, creating a secure and durable perimeter designed to protect the premises against attempted intrusion.

SR2 fencing is independently tested to withstand determined attacks using a range of tools, making it particularly well suited to sensitive locations and other sites where enhanced perimeter security is essential.

We’re proud to have supported Beard Construction in delivering this important new facility for Bath.

🌱 New project | McDonalds Herne Bay

We’re delighted to have secured another exciting project with our valued client, Galamast, at the new McDonald’s restaurant due to open in Herne Bay, Kent, this October.

Our team will be carrying out the initial site clearance works, followed by the installation of closeboard and knee rail fencing.

📢 New project underway | Bickleigh Barracks

We’re delighted to have started work on a new project for our valued client, Kier , at RM Bickleigh, near Plymouth—home to 42 Commando Royal Marines.

Our team is completing the site setup and compound fencing to support the construction of new Single Living Accommodation for 166 personnel.

We’re very proud to be contributing to this important project that'll help to improve the standard and availability of accommodation for service personnel at the base.

Welcome to the team, Mark Newberry! 👋

Mark recently joined Hooper Services as a Grounds Maintenance Operative, bringing a wealth of transferable skills from a varied career, including working as a gas engineer and plumber, and most recently as a Contracts Manager within social housing.

After deciding it was time for a change, Mark was keen to pursue a more active, outdoor role—and eight weeks in, he’s “absolutely loving every minute of it”!

🏡 New Project | Empress Gardens, Tiverton

We’re delighted to be working with our valued client, Bellway Homes, at its Empress Gardens development in Tiverton, Devon.

The development will provide 41 eco-friendly new homes, ranging from one and two-bedroom apartments to two, three and four-bedroom houses.

Our scope of work includes:

➡️ Public open space landscaping and fencing
➡️ Plot fencing
➡️ Plot landscaping
➡️ Ongoing maintenance

This is our second project for Bellway Homes in the area, following the ongoing success of our work at Libbets Grange in nearby Crediton. We’re proud to be strengthening this valued relationship and look forward to helping create attractive, high-quality outdoor spaces for the new community.
