UK inflation remained at 2.8% in May, providing further signs of stability in the economy.
Lower and more predictable inflation helps protect household spending power, supports
business confidence, and reduces pressure on the cost of living.

For mortgage borrowers and homebuyers, stable inflation is particularly important because it
can reduce the need for the Bank of England to keep interest rates higher for longer. While
mortgage rates are influenced by several factors, a sustained period of lower inflation can
create a more favourable environment for lower borrowing costs in the months ahead.

Evening all I hope you don’t mind me sharing this post again!

In two weeks i am competing in a 100km ultra marathon up and down the Cotswolds. It’s a non stop day and night race.

We’re looking for someone organised, personable, and motivated to support both our busy mortgage brokerage and estate agency businesses.

✨ Duties will include:• Client updates and communication• Chasing solicitors and third parties• General administration tasks• Building strong rapport with clients• Supporting day-to-day operations across both businesses

📱 Social media skills would also be highly beneficial to assist with marketing and advertising campaigns.

✅ Previous experience is preferred but not essential — full training and support will be provided for the right person.

Dropped the kids to clubs and wanted a 5k run as an escape from rate chaos…. Ended up turning a simple run into a full-on coastal mission 🌊

Wrong turns, steep cliffs, endless hills, and brutal pebble beaches 😅

Legs burning, lungs spluttering, but views like that make it all worth it.

Sometimes the best runs aren’t the fastest or the easiest… they’re the ones where you’ve got no idea where you’re going, but you keep going anyway.

It’s certainly been a week of fun, games and rate withdrawals.

Time to put the laptop down, pick a beer up and switch on the Europa League
