Becky Whittaker Counselling and Supervision Becky Whittaker is a qualified and experienced integrative counsellor and supervisor working online via Zoom and from a lovely bright space in Exeter, Devon.

I have a special interest in helping student counsellors to grow, flourish and build confidence. As an Integrative Humanistic Counsellor I work in a warm, supportive and honest way. Through the therapeutic relationship I aim to guide and support you in your journey. As an accredited NCPS member I offer a safe, secure and non-judgemental space for you to explore your true self. by different therapeutic models but everything I do is seated in building with you, a trusting, safe and supportive relationship as the very foundation to therapy. Sometimes we need the skills to reach out to others even when we are struggling ourselves. How we say things and how we phrase them can make a difference. Often we don't even know what to say - though we know we might say something..

Meeting your needs when you are a person that puts their needs below others is not easy, but also not impossible either.

1 - Identify what you need to be truly happy for yourself.
2 - Break down into your needs in the immediate future, the medium future and long term.
3 - Work on accepting your needs as just as valid as others and find small ways to meet your needs, build up slowly to bigger areas of life.

Taking care of yourself isn't selfish, it is about honouring yourself and modelling to the people closest to you.
