ESSENCE of Exeter ESSENCE is an active network based in Exeter for social enterprises and co-operatives, social businesses and those that support the aims.

The overall purpose is to develop members’ businesses and the sector. The network runs networking with key speakers on topics chosen by our members. These meetings are the ideal opportunity for SEs to genuinely benefit from meeting each other, sharing best practice, creating new partnerships and building a supportive community. Our Story

The Network runs business support and networking events. These meetings are the ideal opportunity for (aspiring) social entrepreneurs to genuinely benefit from meeting each other, sharing best practice, creating new partnerships and building a supportive community.

The Network actively signposts members to available business support in the region in order to grow their business healthily. ESSENCE will advocate and be a voice for Exeter’s social enterprises, influencing strategically on their behalf.
