A lot of Backworlds clients come to us to solve problem.

They might be in pain and need a specific solution that allows them to work pain free. Sometimes a client has bought chairs online and they've just not been right, or they're working hard for many hours and the chairs have been failing after a couple of years.

Last week a retired couple visited. They don't want the best chair in the world and they're not spending hours at a desk, they simply wanted a good chair at a fair price.

I showed them the Butterfly, and he said he'd never been so comfortable sat at a desk.

I had one in stock so he was able to walk away with his new chair.

Hey Exeter!

There's a rumour going round town that there's a place on Marsh Barton where you can buy expensive office chairs.

It's true! You can! Most people come to us because they want a really good chair. They've probably had a few ok ones, but now want something worthy of their health and an 8 hour day.

But we do more affordable chairs too.

There's the cool little mesh Butterfly, delivered directly to you for £262.80. It's strong, adjustable and surprisingly good for a chair of this price. Many customer have bought one thinking it's too cheap to be true, and then come back for more.

For a little more, there's our Ergo Posture 100.

Frustrated with economy chairs having features that look good, but don't work, I've had this chair designed with everything you need in a work chair, and built to a price you can hopefully afford.

The Vela Tango chair is the best thing we have for helping maintain safe independent living.

Here we see Keith. Nothing particularly wrong with him, but he does find standing difficult, so his wife has to help.

Keiths new Tango chair has a brake so the chair doesn't move, and an eletric lift to help him rise safely.

THIS IS NOT AN OFFICE CHAIR!

It is pretty, it might be exceptionally comfortable. I'm not saying that it isn't well made, great value and comes with a long warranty. It might well be a very good chair, but it is not a chair designed for desk based computer work.

The armrests are huge and will prevent the chair getting close enough to the desk.

I don't think the seat depth is adjustable.

There is no adjustment in the backrest for angle or height.

It doesn't have a movement that will provide you with constant support while you work.
