Well done to those Taxi drivers in Exmouth who were involved in doing this.........so many individuals , businesses & organisations in Exmouth have gone out of their way recently or are going to help & provide festive cheer for people.....true care in the community ........A big thumbs up to all of you .

Taxi drivers in Exmouth got into the Christmas spirit once again by providing their more senior customers with a free festive feast.

An Exmouth Story -
I thought it would be worth telling you what happened to me yesterday. I saw a very elderly gentlemen struggling up the road with a bag of shopping........I said 'Do you want a hand with carrying that'?
'Thank you' he said ...... he told me he was 91 years old & was in the RAF during the war.
He went on to tell me that there was a time once when he had got back to his house & realised he had dropped his wallet somewhere in town which had money & other personal effects in it.................feeling very upset there was a knock on his door & standing in his doorway when he opened the door were two teenage lads. They had found his wallet which had his address in it & were returning it complete with everything in it. He told me how tearful he was & grateful he felt towards these young people . He said 'This is a wonderful town & country with some wonderful people in it & how proud he was to have fought to preserve the freedoms of future generations although terrible sad still at the cost it took in human life including many of his friends'..................................................................... A lovely old gentleman & a lovely heart warming story of kindness by two young people in the season of goodwill.
