Benn is already shearing flat out as well as doing sales trimming and support. The wife is flat out as show organiser for Hadleigh Show which takes place in 2 weeks so responses to messages will be after the show now.

If you were on Benn’s list last year you are automatically on it for this year. There is fly about so please, please keep an eye on your sheep, trim off any daggy bits and treat with fly prevention treatment.

A huge Happy Christmas from Benn and his glamorous assistants for those of you who’ve had the pleasure of the boys working with him. Benn is working tomorrow (obviously!) but won’t be working on Christmas Day or Boxing Day so hold fire on the texts for a couple of days so he can spend his time wrapping my presents and doing all the jobs!

Incredibly proud of Harry for winning the Lantra Landbased Agricultural Learner of the year award last night. He absolutely loved his time at Suffolk Rural College, making friends and making the most of every opportunity he had along the way. Huge thanks to his tutors and especially Robert Spink for having him for work experience, he’s learnt so much being hands on and working with others. Chuffed to bits, well done Harry, best you start shearing as quickly as the boss man now!

Neben Jumbo (shearling ram - lot 15 - out of Rockvilla Hector and Neben ewe) and Neben Kyle (ram lamb - lot 28 - out of Millend Elmo and Neben ewe) are both ready for their trip to Melton Mowbray Rare and Native Breeds Show and Sale on Saturday. Looking very smart boys!
