The larger components in a vehicle aren't as simple as 'just replace'

Overhauling of major components can be a cost effective repair but with a lack of specialist services in the immediate area this can make this process difficult, dropping off and collecting is just not a viable option.

The Parts Runner can facilitate this, dropping off and arranging collection as soon as the components are ready

The Parts Runner continues to deal with the non-productive aspects of your business, with new customers and specialist service providers still coming on board.

This week R & M injection Services Ltd found themselves on TPR radar, overhauling 2 sets of injectors for plant machinery in quick fashion, Driveline Scotland ltd carrying out a DPF clean and saving the respective garage ££££s on a costly replacement. This involved a reduction in the DPF back pressure from 92bar to 6bar 👀, Driveline have very specific services dealing with SCRs, DPFs, EGRs and the normal problematic after fuel treatment systems. They also deal with propshaft refurbishment and replacement where needed.

These services are few and far between on the East Coast, and perhaps options worth considering before expensive parts purchasing.

Busy day on behalf of Conlon Plant Services Limited an early morning start for a collection in Coatbridge, followed swiftly by collections in Broxburn from Mercedes Benz and Scania I Newbridge, all ensuring Chris and his team could start their days on the job. All parts delivered direct to site and saved hours of valuable productive time being wasted.

A quick dash back to Grangemouth DPF cleaning specialists Driveline to collect this rather sizeable commercial DPF and Ad-Blu unit 😳 returned direct to site before the fitter had even arrived 😉..... slacking Chris!!

A couple of new additions to The Parts Runner this week, and even a reply of "Ahhhh! So YOU'RE the parts Runner"

Regrettably I have tested positive for Covid-19 and will now be self isolating. Therefore there will be no Parts Runner service until next Wednesday at the earliest.

I am more frustrated and annoyed more than anything, contracting the virus after such a long period of time. I would like to consider myself vigilant when it comes to mask wearing, distance and sanitising. This proves that nothing can be taken for granted and we've all still got a part to play in managing the spread

The latest addition to The Parts Runner took us over the border this morning, thankfully a short stay and back in gods country 😉🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Glad to have The Bodyshop on board, this business have been losing productive members of staff for upto 4 hours at a time in a bid to solve supply issues. Thankfully after referral from another borders customer they find themselves added to the database and a plan B when things don't go... Well, to plan!

Just when you think you've done it all 🙈 a good friend got in touch this morning asking for availability to collect a wetsuit from Foxlake outdoor sports centre. Definitely a bit left field for me, however the service simply provides an opportunity to use your time in a different way, this customer saved over an hour and a half by simply asking "who else can do that?"

As the service evolves I am finding myself predominantly on the east side of Edinburgh and East Coast, with most deliveries complete by 12 noon. This will be the preference moving forward, with requests carried out AM. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or queries you may have for you or your business
