Here’s some things we will never tell you…

Not because they aren’t true, but because they are our real ick words. Skip hire should just be these things. You shouldn’t have to sell a service based on what we think is basic good service:

Reliable: You shouldn’t be hiring anything that doesn’t turn up on time and when expected, so this shouldn’t be a unique selling point.

Fast: If you are waiting weeks for a skip, something isn’t right. That’s not how we operate.

Helpful: Are we really at a point where that is something people don’t expect?

Choosing us means simple, upfront pricing, a team that are brilliant problem solvers when you need them, and getting what you ordered when you ordered it with as little fuss as possible.

Take these 3 simple steps to get a skip ordered to your door:

1. Head to our website and pick your skip. We have different sizes, information, FAQs and everything you need. The booking system is simple and seamless.

2. Have your skip delivered. You pick the date and we bring it to your door.

3. Have the skip collected once you’ve filled it. We’ll give you a collection date, but if you need it for longer, just give us a call.

It's as simple as 1, 2, 3.

There is a clue in the name...

But we do deliver wider than just Fakenham. Like any skip hire business, we have a catchment area.

Luckily, our website won’t let you book outside of it. To book online, you have to add your postcode before you can do anything else, so you won’t get to the end of the booking only to be told “sorry, you’re out of luck”.

Please don’t overfill your skip.

We’re not saying it for the sake of it. We’re not trying to upsell you or get you to buy a bigger skip.

There are plenty of reasons why you should think twice before adding “just one more thing”.

It won’t be collected
If it’s overfilled, we legally can’t take it. Simple as that.

It’s not safe
Loose waste can fall out in transit. Not great for anyone on the road. None of us want to cause an accident.

You might end up paying more
Extra collections or having to rearrange things can cost more than just getting the right size in the first place.

Remember, gravity will win out. If you pile it high, it’s coming down.

We know, everyone's done it, put something unrecylable in the green bin, or put food not in the food waste bucket.

But when it comes to skips, it’s pretty important that you DON’T put certain items in there. Some things you might not realise are hazardous can’t go in, as well as some things that really can’t go in general waste.

So here’s a list of what shouldn’t be going in your skip:
– Fridges and freezers
– TVs or computer monitors
– Liquids (dried-out paint is acceptable)
– Fluorescent tubes and other mercury-containing waste
– Gas canisters
– Tyres
– Asbestos (please contact the team to discuss large scale asbestos removal)
– Plasterboard (cannot be mixed with general waste)

A good rule of thumb: if in doubt, leave it out, and give the team a call if you want to check anything.

And remember, this isn’t about making things more difficult for you, it’s all about what’s best for the environment and what can be safely and responsibly disposed of on site.
