Back at Lands End Hotel today delivering People Management training 🌊☀️

This place holds a special spot for me as one of the very first hotels I worked with when I started delivering training for Cornwall Hospitality Table, so it was brilliant to be back again, this time representing Cornwall Hospitality Collective.

A huge thank you to such an engaged and enthusiastic group who made the day so enjoyable. The sunshine definitely showed off Land’s End beutiful viewst… even if the wind nearly blew me off the cliff edge while trying to grab a photo!

Always grateful for the opportunity to support such fantastic teams across Cornwall.

One of the most interesting parts of my work is helping teams understand how they work best together.

Through Beacon HR I provide HR advice and training, and I’m also a licensed Insights Discovery Practitioner.

Insights Discovery helps people understand their own communication style and how others prefer to work. Using a simple colour model, it can help teams:

✔ communicate better
✔ understand different working styles
✔ reduce conflict and misunderstandings
✔ work more effectively together

It’s brilliant for leadership teams, new teams, or organisations going through change.

I also deliver training such as:

• Bullying, harassment and sexual harassment awareness
• Line manager training – motivation, feedback and difficult conversations
• HR fundamentals – employment law basics and good recruitment practice

Everything can be tailored to the organisation and the challenges they’re facing.
