Alison Head is an experienced conservator who has worked in both the public and private sectors. She has worked for The North West Museum Service, an organisation which undertook the conservation work for all the major galleries in the towns and cities of the north west; The Williamson Art Gallery and Museum in Birkenhead and The Herbert Art Gallery and Museum in Coventry. As well as restoring pai

ntings on canvas and panel, she restores frames - including gilding. She is currently advising Falmouth art Gallery and is a member of ICON.
