One of our newest recommendations...

Since joining Your Partnerships events, we have seen a real difference in the connections we’ve made across Cornwall. All are invited to a FREE to attend online meeting with a twist

Your Partnerships are proud to partner with Rachel Roots as she host an online event with a twist. I met Rachel at an event not too long ago and love what she is bringing to the world to help people in business.

This meeting is for ambitious introverts as Rachel started the group to help provide a safe space to meet and it meets once a month on Zoom, and the next one is on Thursday, 13 August at 11am.

There are normally around 20 people on the call with a mixture of regular attendees and new people and enough room for every conversation to feel human.

Format matters and Rachel uses four breakout rooms, so connections happen in smaller groups rather than one crowded call.

There are no on-the-spot introductions to get through. Everyone puts their details in the chat, giving you time to read them properly and follow up when the moment feels right.

Between conversations, Rachel shares a few thoughts to take away. The aim is to leave with a clearer vision, useful context and a reason to continue a conversation beyond the online calls.

For founders and sole traders, a relaxed room can make the difference between staying quiet and making a connection that becomes a referral, collaboration or trusted supplier relationship.

The next session is Thursday 13 August at 11am.

Mr. Bear Has One Request for Cornwall Open House

Mr. Bear had one disappointment: he cannot come along. Bringing our own furry family members would be too stressful for the animals already in the RSPCA Cornwall Branch's care.

He took the news well, perhaps because this is the same branch that helped him find his way into our family more than 12 years ago.

On Thursday 20 August at 9am, the Cornwall Open House is heading on the road for the first time, with a free morning visit to the Cornwall Branch Animal Centre.

Local businesses will hear about the branch's developments, tour the facilities and enjoy a relaxed summer social over coffee, tea and volunteer-baked cakes.

The cakes are available for a donation to the RSPCA Cornwall Branch, so every slice can do a little good.

Children on their summer break, family and friends are welcome too. Come as casually as you like; this is a chance to meet people, see the centre and spend a friendly morning together.

Please leave your pets at home, bring your curiosity instead, and register for your free ticket so we can plan numbers.

A Cornwall Open House with a little more heart at RSPCA Cornwall Branch

A good networking morning should leave more behind than a stack of business cards.

For August, Your Partnerships is taking its Cornwall Open House to the RSPCA Cornwall Branch in Saint Columb, because local relationships matter beyond the room.

The branch raises almost all of its funding locally. Every pound supports animals in Cornwall, and the morning is a chance to see the care behind that support.

We will start at 9:00am with tea, coffee and easy conversation, followed by introductions with people from across the local business community.

The RSPCA team will run small guided tours throughout the morning, so you can meet some of the animals and understand the work happening at the centre.

Children are welcome too, if they are still enjoying the summer holidays. Bring them along for a morning that feels relaxed, useful and rooted in the community.

Three things to bring:
- Curiosity about the people you meet
- A willingness to make a genuine introduction
- Time to learn about a local charity doing vital work

Join us on 20 August, 9:00am to 11:00am, at RSPCA Cornwall Branch, Quoit, Saint Columb, TR9 6JS. It is free to attend and everyone is welcome.
