Such an important post for people to read. I understand why people buy saddles online but you really never know what you’re getting. I think there’s a misconception that saddle fitters will try sell you the most important saddle they have but it really isn’t true (or at least not in my case!). When you buy a saddle through a saddle fitter you know it is straight, safe and suitable. 🐴❤️

They make width adjustments so much easier and a much more sustainable option for horse owners, as the width can be altered easily to accommodate fluctuations in workload, weight and muscle development. Just like splash here who needed a quick width adjustment❤️.

The lovely Blue 💙 having a check up on his Fairfax Andrew Hoy XC saddle. With the lovely grass growth we’ve had recently, Blue had put on a couple pounds and so his saddle was sitting a little narrow but with the adjustable gullet system I was able to make his saddle a little more comfortable along a top of flocking. Frequent saddle checks are always recommended and especially in the changing seasons / workload when weight gain and loss often occurs ❤️🐴
