Today we are launching our π’π£ππ₯ππ§ππ’π‘ π₯ππ-πππ§π campaign as part of our support to the rural community!
In recent years, precision GPS systems have become one of the most frequently stolen assets from rural communities, this is because of there high value and portability. Insurance companies such as NFU (National Farmers' Union) Mutual have seen an increase of 300% in rural GPS thefts in the first 4 months of 2023.
Op Red-kite provides support and assistance to farmers, Contractors, Machinery Dealerships, Police Forces and Insurance companies in the efforts to combat precision GPS theft.
Our usual clandestine approach towards operations has now been sidelined in an effort to assist authorities in there efforts to deter, disrupt, apprehend and prosecute the organised crime groups responsible for these particular crimes.
Since 2020 we have engaged with over 48 victims of this particular crime, we have attended many crime scenes as a private entity to gather intelligence, establish best practices that will aid our private investigations and provide reassurance to those who require it.
Throughout this time we have engaged with many police forces and have gained a phenomenal amount of knowledge into this issue. I'd like to highlight the fantastic work carried out by the Cheshire Police Rural Crime Team, they are by far the best team I have come across thus far when it comes to taking action and prosecuting offenders!
