International Day of Charity is about the people who give of themselves, not the large donations or the names on buildings, but the quiet acts of service that hold a place together.

Most of it happens with no recognition at all, which tends to be how the people doing it prefer it. They weren't looking to be thanked. They saw something that needed doing and they did it.

Today is for acknowledging them anyway.

To everyone who gives their time and their care to somebody who needs it, thank you. It matters more than you know.

🛡️ Helping Our Community Stay Scam Aware 🛡️

Our lovely Team Leader and Fraud Officer, Kerenza Faram, has been out and about in the community delivering two fantastic scam-awareness talks , one for Age Concern in Totton and another at Mountbatten Hospice in Southampton.

Both sessions had lots of engagement, with plenty of questions, conversations and fraud-prevention packs taken away. Even better, the talks have already led to interest in more sessions being arranged! 🙌

With scams becoming increasingly convincing and sophisticated, raising awareness and helping people recognise the warning signs is so important , particularly for older and potentially vulnerable members of our community.

We’re really proud to be able to support initiatives like this and share knowledge that can genuinely help keep people safe. 💗

Are you kind, reliable and looking for a role where you can make a real difference to someone’s day?

We are looking for caring people to join our friendly Farnham team, providing companionship and support to people in their own homes.

Previous experience is welcome but not essential. What matters most is having the right attitude and genuinely caring about others. Full training and ongoing support are provided.

45p per mile mileage allowance
