Experienced Full-Time Groom Wanted – Private Competition Yard, Berkshire

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic groom to become an integral part of a small private competition yard in Berkshire, caring for a select team of 2–3 quality horses.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is passionate about looking after the horses to the highest standard, both at home and on the show circuit. The successful candidate will take pride in exceptional turnout, horse welfare and presentation, and be fully committed to life as part of a competitive team.

The Role
• Home and show grooming for a small team of competition horses
• Maintaining impeccable turnout and welfare standards
• Managing all aspects of daily horse care and yard duties
• Travelling to shows and supporting the horses throughout the season

Requirements
• Experience at 3★ level or above
• Excellent horse management and turnout skills
• Professional, reliable and highly organised
• A positive team player with a strong work ethic
• Full UK driving licence
• Must have the right to work in the UK

Berkshire based, accommodation available though you must drive a car to and from the base. Competitive wage.

2️⃣ Part time house keeper (15 hours per week). Rural, country home set within an estate in Farnham, Surrey. This role comes with a separate, self contained 3 bed cottage with a small, private garden. Partner and dog welcome. Monday- Friday 9-12. Extra hours paid at an agreed rate, you’re welcome to work elsewhere in your time off. This is a non paid role in return for the wonderful accommodation offered.

🌟 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Housekeeper to join a warm, welcoming household within a beautiful private residence near Farnham, Surrey for 15 hours per week in exchange for lovely, self contained accommodation set within the estate. Partner welcome and well behaved dogs.

This is a varied role with an even split between housekeeping and laundry duties, ideal for a candidate who enjoys taking pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards throughout a private home.
The property is a substantially large residence used for both private family stays and entertaining, however the house is only occupied for a couple the majority of time. The previous housekeeper has been here for 9 + years.

This role boasts a genuinely lovely working environment with excellent staff retention and comes with a self contained 3 bed cottage complete with small garden within the estate.

Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping Duties
* Maintaining immaculate cleanliness and presentation throughout the property
* Daily housekeeping of bedrooms, bathrooms, reception rooms, and guest areas
* Deep cleaning and seasonal housekeeping tasks including polishing silver and furniture
* Assisting with preparation for guests and entertaining
Laundry Duties
* Washing, ironing, steaming, and pressing garments and household linens
* Caring for delicate and high-end fabrics with attention to detail
* Organising wardrobes and linen storage areas
* Managing laundry processes efficiently
Working Schedule
* The household requires 15 hours per week, 9am-12pm Monday - Friday in exchange for the cottage premises.

Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience within a private household, luxury hospitality, or similar high-standard environment
* Strong housekeeping and laundry skills
* Excellent attention to detail and high standards of presentation
* Positive, flexible, and can-do attitude
