Izzy PR offers a high quality and personal consultancy to businesses looking to raise their profile, push a product or service, become more visible to competitors or increase sales. Whether you're looking for an overhaul of your current communications, a website re-write, weekly social media management, advertising copy, website news, blogs or ad-hoc press releases, I'm here to work with you to gi

ve your business the push it needs, when it needs it. I work with clients to find out what they want to achieve and produce a budget-based strategy on what to do, how to do it and how to measure the effectiveness of the campaign. I offer a cost-effective alternative for businesses with a communications need without sufficient demand to keep a PR/marketing role on their payroll. I can also be contracted during busy periods, helping to bolster your existing resource.

Many years ago, whilst working for Kent Police, a very senior officer told me that a cup of tea is essential in a crisis.
She told me it slows things down, brings some normality and starts to create a bond.
And in hospice care, it’s essential there too. Thank you for a wonderful tea tasting event today! To and Dan Rook from CHASH tea!

What an amazing find! is not only a wonderful museum, but also has a cafe that you can use any time - without a museum visit. Just pop in and enjoy! Very easy to get to and the views are AMAZING!

You never know who you’ll meet at networking! At their afternoon tea I met a current client, past client, fellow member, and had two really interesting chats about collaborations for Izzy PR! All in 2 hours!

There are so many phrases we have become used to in the media that we just read and repeat in conversation. This one comes up very often - sadly it’s news that we’re reading about every day.
In this one, it refers to an allegation involving someone under 16. But if you’re under 16, you’re a child. (Not if you’re buying tickets or plane seats sometimes but there we go…)
The reason they say under 16 is because it’s the legal age of consent for s*x in the UK, but in cases where allegations of abuse are involved, it’s more accurate to describe them as a child - because in abuse, consent is negated. Someone is alleged to have been abused and that person, if under 18 is a child. A 16 year old consenting to s*x is still a child. They are a child@until they’re 18.
