I'm rubbish at posting work updates, but I was so happy to see this website go live today.

gyd architects are based in Ashford and work on projects throughout London and the south east.

Refreshingly, they knew exactly what they wanted to achieve with their new website. I worked with Neil Brown at Beamtwenty3.co.uk on creating something that specifically met their objectives.

• To make the most of their extensive back catalogue of projects and photos to demonstrate the practice’s wealth of experience
• To spread the word that gyd architects work on projects throughout London and the south east
• To highlight that gyd is a RIBA chartered practice
• To simplify the architectural and building process for those unaccustomed to working on building projects

So happy to talk on BBC Radio Kent about supporting local businesses at Christmas.
In Faversham's campaign to encourage us to give experiences rather than material items for Christmas is hitting home with lots of people. It's such a lovely idea to give someone the gift of an experience they'll remember forever. With fewer unwanted Christmas presents, it's more sustainable too.

It was great to welcome new and familiar faces to the Alloy Marketing Networking Evening last night - including our special guest....Fang! Our furry friend came along to tell everyone about the Howl-O-Ween dog parade taking place in Faversham tomorrow.

The sun sets on this year’s apple harvest.
This beautiful picture taken at Brogdale Collections yesterday shows the last of this year’s harvest.
Faversham is in the heart of the Garden of England, but did you know that Brogdale is home to the National Fruit Collections – which is absolutely unique? It’s the world’s largest collection of temperate fruits – apples, pears, plums, cherries and more – here in Faversham. Right on our doorstep, some of the world’s rarest varieties of fruits are being protected.
The orchards still look beautiful and now is a great time to visit. But you’ll need an Orchard Pass from Brogdale Collections, available via their website.

Let’s talk about Christmas!
Our next Alloy Networking Meeting is on Thursday at 5.30pm – taking place in the Creek Creative Café. As well as having a good chin wag, we’ll also be chatting about Christmas. What’s happening locally. How to prepare for the busiest time of the year. Suggestions and ideas. There may even be mince pies!
