What a busy few days it’s been for us at SSL Security Services Limited, Once again we got the opportunity and privilege to work alongside Andy Warner of Warner Security Services, providing and running security for the Ringside Club (Members & VIP Area) at this year’s Suffolk Show.

Over the last 4 years we have been part of the team, running the security in the ringside club, in those years we have built and made some great friends, From Peter, Kelly & the team at TSS, to Graham & Dan from the Show ground, to the team of stewards and staff we see each year in the members and sponsors marquee. It may be once a year but never seems that long.

Roll on 2027 when we get to do it all again….

SSL have been involved with the Mayor’s Charity Fashion Show the last 3 years and I’m sure we will for many years to come.

It’s been our pleasure volunteering our services to help raise funds to the mayor’s charities each year and an incredible achievement by everyone involved to raise nearly £8000 this year from the show.

Well done everyone and here’s to next years show!

SSL Security Services Limited is delighted to welcome Oakley to the family. Aaron and Bucklands K9 Security has been working jointly with us for a couple years now with Aaron recently joining us pretty much full time in a senior role within the company.
SSL & Buckland’s K9 have some big & major things happening this year so watch this space.

A busy day today with 19 people attending our first official Emergency First Aid at Work Course taking place for the launch of SSL medical in conjunction with SSL Security.

SSL Medical will be able to offer not only First Aid Training but also First Aid for any event and function you have.

All of us involved would like to thank Leon & Dan, not only for their support in this new venture but also for everything you have done for SSL over the last few years and for letting us use La Vida to host such courses.

A special thanks also goes to Aaron from Bucklands K9 Security , Aaron is not only a senior member/partner of the SSL family, he’s also a trusted and valued friend. Aaron brings a wealth of knowledge with his years of experience within the emergency services, fire brigade and security industry.

It’s been a busy few months behind the scenes for SSL Security Services with not only the planning and starting of SSL Medical, our partnership with Norfolk & Suffolk 4x4 Response, our events diary getting full but also expanding our portfolio of weekly venus to now 5!!

Who would have thought when SSL started out 4 years ago we would be where we are today. Over the last 4 years we have grown to be where we are today because of some amazing people we have working with and for us, so from all of us at SSL, we are grateful to each and everyone of you.

Heres to a great 2026 and many more years to come!!

Security workers play a vital role in maintaining public safety, but can face violence and abuse while performing their duties. Despite their critical role in protecting businesses, venues, and the public, security workers lack the legal protections afforded to emergency workers and shop workers.

PLAN FOR THE WORST, HOPE FOR THE BEST!!

Something that was taught to me at a young age and something which SSL lives by today.

I pride myself in making sure SSL has everything needed in our first aid kits to deal with most if not all emergencies and tonight proved just that.

Having a customer suffer an anaphylactic reaction suddenly and is without there EpiPen!! Thankfully living by that motto you carry one in your first aid kits!

Not many companies do carry EpiPens in there kits but it’s something that could potentially save someone’s life!!…..Thankfully after tonight I’m glad we do.
