WHAT A WEEK! ASR (Dorset) turning its hand to a great variety of Security tasks - all week in different locations with different clients. Predominantly Retail Security & Wedding Events. And over the last week I drew great open support/praise from retail customers (and some staff) for 1) Challenging & Confronting anti social behaviour by youths in a retail store 2) Locating a set of missing keys, because I knew where the gent had been 25 mins ago & no one else could recall (Powers of observation) 3) Several potential shoplifters deflected from their intentions and providing them with an education about retail Security to the entertainment of others. Alternative Security Resource (Dorset) notches up another success 19th Sept 2018.
Detecting, challenging & confronting a well known shoplifter in Co-op, Parkstone, Poole recovering the property before the offender leaves the store uttering some views about being caught.
All this before staff were even aware, their own security not present - but unfortunately it was all in public and community spirit beoing an unpaid serviceon this occasion.
Can't beat good a Store Detective/Security with experience and willingness to challenge & confront.
