P. A. Testing is not required by law but it is required by the majority of insurance companies, most portable items should be tested annually and have a valid current sticker showing the tester and test date.
It is recommended for shops, café’s, restaurant's, holiday homes, B & Bs even Air B n B’s and businesses.
It covers items like lamps, kettles, toasters, extension leads, four way sockets, computers, mixers, blenders, coffee machines, irons, hoovers, hairdryers, TV’s and most electrical items which are considered portable. Items that are less that 1 year old don't need testing.
