The first major changes for the Employment Rights Act start tomorrow so below is a quick reminder of the changes that are coming in in April & October 2026 and January 2027.

The first major milestone for the Employment Rights Act is fast approaching. From April 2026, employers will be required to implement a number of important changes, with further reforms expected in October 2026 and January 2027.
