Ollie's Christmas Trees - Fleet are open all this weekend (brave souls) and have new stock of fresh trees as well as wreaths 🎄🎄🎄 If this is your weekend for tree decorating, get down to The Tweseldown pub car park and time from awn until dusk and you're guaranteed a great tree and great service. 😀

Fleet Lions do so much to help our local community. The support they provide for road closures enables events such as the Carnival, Fleet Christmas Festival, the Remembrance Parade and the recent Jubilee celebrations to take place. Now they need your help. If you can spare just a few hours your support will mean so much to the Lions and the local community.

We do so much in the community but we do need help!

This is a great part time role for someone with admin experience looking to work locally.
Fleet Town Council’s Committee Administration Officer is responsible for preparing agendas and documents, attending evening meetings to take notes and produce the minutes plus some admin work during the week.
No meetings (usually) in August or Christmas holidays so could be suitable for someone with young children at school.

One for local charities, fundraisers and PTAs - The Twilight Runway Challenge, organised by local charity The Community Matters Partnership, takes place on Saturday 17th September at Blackbushe Airport.
Fundraisers can run, scoot or cycle 3km, 5km or 10km (or walk 3k or 5k) with 100% of sponsorship raised by your supporters going to your charity.
40 charities are already taking part and this is a great way to raise funds for your cause. Come in fancy dress or T Shirts with your logo and raise awareness too!
