The Wellbeing Business Lounge

The Wellbeing Business Lounge I help wellbeing practitioners who are busy all the time but still worried about money make better sense of their business.

04/09/2026

You can be busy all week and still wonder why your business isn’t quite giving you what you need from it.

You’re seeing clients. You’re posting. You’re coming up with ideas. You’re doing all the things you’re told you’re supposed to do.

And yet… something isn’t quite working.

I’ve put together a short guide covering three of the things I see wellbeing practitioners getting stuck on most often and what you can start thinking about differently.

If you’d like a copy, comment GET3 below and I’ll send it straight over 😊

August brought a lot of conversations about what it actually means to build a business that serves you.

We talked about systems. Boundaries. Investment. The permission to stop.

We talked about work schedules and reset time and knowing when to close your laptop.

We talked about your business being here to support your life, not the other way around.

If any of this landed for you this month, I want you to know: you’re not behind. You’re not broken.

You’re just waking up to a different way of doing things and that’s exactly what we explore together in The Lounge & The Circle.

Come sit with us. Free 7 day trial, no strings. Let’s figure this out together.

I’m starting to feel that little shift towards autumn 🍂 I can’t wait to wear jumpers and boots, have a cosy fire in the evening and roast potatoes aplenty. It got me wondering…

What are you looking forward to over the next few months?

It doesn’t have to be anything exciting or impressive. Getting back into a routine, darker evenings, a new project, seeing someone you love… or just getting the big jumpers out again.

Tell me yours. I’d genuinely love to know. 🧡

I’ve been thinking about why so many lovely, perfectly capable wellbeing practitioners get a bit squirmy about selling. Because we’re usually absolutely fine talking about the thing we love doing!

Ask a yoga teacher about yoga and you could lose an afternoon. 😂 The same goes for therapists, coaches, massage therapists, reflexologists and all the rest of us.

The awkwardness tends to arrive when the conversation changes from:

“This is what I do…”

to:

“Would you like to work with me?”

Suddenly we worry that we’re being pushy. Or that they’ll think we only started the conversation because we wanted their money. So we wait for them to ask, drop increasingly enormous hints or simply say nothing at all. And I think that’s where we’ve got sales slightly muddled up.

Offering someone something that could genuinely help them isn’t the same as trying to convince them to buy it. They can say no. You can survive that. 😁 and they might even say yes.

I’m going to be talking about this quite a lot over the next few weeks because I’m bringing back my free Selling Without the Ick workshop on 22nd September. But in the meantime, I’m curious…

Which bit makes you most uncomfortable – talking about your price or actually asking someone if they’d like to book?

The corporate market looks shiny.

Big contracts. Big money. Big visibility.

But it’s not always the right fit. Especially in wellness.

Your ideal client might be the solo practitioner. The person who found you on Facebook. The one who trusted a recommendation from a friend. That’s real. That’s sustainable. That’s low risk growth, which often beats high-risk chases.

What matters isn’t impressive.

What matters is what actually works for you and your practice.

Do you know who your ideal client actually is? Really know?

That’s the conversation we have in The Lounge.

Come figure it out with us.

It’s okay to say ‘I’ve done enough today.’

It’s okay to say ‘I’ve done enough this week.’

It’s actually required. You’re not failing. You’re not lazy. You’re not letting anyone down.

You’re setting a boundary and the only person you’re affecting? Yourself. Your peace. Your life.

Your business will still be there tomorrow. But you might not be, if you keep going like this.

Stop the guilt. Start the rest.

Come to The Lounge if you need permission.

We’ll give it to you.

Your to do list will never be done.

There will always be something else to do. Another email. Another task. Another thing you ‘should’ be doing.

That’s not failure. That’s just how it works.

What actually matters is knowing which things move the needle and doing those first. The quick wins. The things that actually change something.

Managing your time isn’t about doing more. It’s about choosing what matters.

What’s one quick win you completed this week? That counts. That matters. You’re allowed to feel proud of it, even if the to do list isn’t finished.

(Pro tip: I love Toggl.com for this. It’s free and it actually works.)

Learning when to stop is a skill.

Work life balance isn’t about squeezing more into the day, it’s knowing when enough is enough.

There will always be one more task… but the most productive thing you can do is close the laptop and go home.

Your wellbeing will thank you for it.
