The concept for Vedette came from our founder, a decorated former British Army officer and civilian police officer. In conversations with lawyers, TV executives, businessmen, retailers, community leaders and politicians, he became aware of the need for a more thoughtful and qualitative approach to the provision of static, mobile and related support, based on staff who are every bit as professional
and capable as their colleagues in the military and police. He realised that, as well as the more traditional static and mobile security presence, many clients want user friendly, approachable, thinking, 'go-to' problem solvers, people who can be relied upon to provide flexible support in addressing a broader range of issues relating to the security and welfare of their property, staff and reputation.
