🏡 Preserving History Together! 🖼️

We want to say a huge, heartfelt thank you to Craig from Forfar Photo Shop and our wonderful neighbour, Keith Bruce, for a brilliant addition to the Davidson Legacy Cottage today!

Craig has incredibly colourised, scanned, and framed a stunning historic photo of the old blacksmith's forge and donated it to the cottage. The original photo belongs to Keith, whose family history here goes all the way back to 1871, when they lived and worked as joiners right across the road. 🪵✨

It was fantastic to get Craig and Keith together with the finished print. Thank you both so much for your amazing efforts in helping us showcase the history of the cottage and the local area!

To our customers.

As you know parking is limited outside the shop.

However…..if you didn’t already know, Forfar Furniture Store kindly and generously allow our customers and customers of the other small businesses in East High Street to use the car park behind their store (North street).

Remember you MUST go into the Furniture Store and give them your registration Number or you will receive a fine.

To my customers. The road closure on East High Street has now been removed. The parking in the street is now accessible again. 😊

To my customers, you may be aware of the roadworks on East High St and there is no parking outside the shop for now, however the Furniture Store has kindly agreed to allow our customers to use their car park! You MUST go into the store and give them your registration number otherwise will face an automatic fine. The car park is located in North St behind the Furniture Store.Other options may be Queen St, further down East High St or North St. Sorry for any inconvenience.
