Now in our 15th year The Southport Comedy Festival has launched their national search for the next Southport New Comedian of the Year, proudly sponsored by Dragon Soop
Here’s how to apply:

📩 Send us the link in your application
📅 8 comedians will be selected to take part in the Grand Final on Saturday 3rd October at Victoria Park, part of the 15th annual Southport Comedy Festival Under Canvas!
🏆 The winner will be crowned Southport New Comedian of the Year 2026 AND take home a cash prize 💸
✅ Open to comedians with less than 4 years’ experience performing for paying audiences
📢 All applicants will be contacted by Friday 18th September
