Have you had your email address for many years? Perhaps you're still using one with tiscali.co.uk, blueyonder.co.uk, aol.com, madasafish.com?

Now might be the time to check your security settings - in particular the mobile that's attached to this email address and the recovery email address. If your email address is hacked and you can't get access to your email, your recovery options might be the only way of gaining access to it again. It only takes a couple of minutes to do this and will save you the anguish.

Better still, if you are using an email address with one of the above names, is to move to one of the more modern email addresses - eg gmail.com, outlook.com as you'll get more (not much) support with these types of emails than the older ones.
