We’re proud to have supported the University of Stirling’s National Aquaculture Technology and Innovation Hub (NATIH), providing specialist input across design, procurement, and delivery of complex RAS systems.

This was a live project with a late-stage supplier change, creating real risk around design coordination and programme delivery.

Our role focused on integrating a new RAS supplier, coordinating complex interfaces, and leading commissioning strategy to ensure system performance at handover.

Through structured coordination and early intervention, we helped de-risk delivery and maintain programme confidence.

Great to be at Innerleithen last weekend supporting our sponsored rider Angus Riddle, who was competing in his debut Scottish Downhill Series (SDA) race.

In their debut match at the Showfield in Nairn, the newly formed Fort William Womens Football team played their first game against an experienced Nairn St Ninian side, showing incredible determination and skill.

Despite a 3–2 loss, there were so many positives including a first-half goal from Kirsten Dodds, a penalty save from player/coach Sarah Riddle and a second-half strike from Collette D’Ambrosio that kept the pressure on until the final whistle.

The squad’s effort and spirit were clear to see, and this is just the beginning of an exciting journey for women’s football in Fort William. We’re proud to sponsor the team and can’t wait to see what’s next!

A truly fascinating project to work on (with bonus points for being right on our office doorstep!). NLC were delighted to manage this upgrade of Mowi Scotland’s Blar Mhor facilities, coordinating all aspects of the design, build, and commissioning of this ambitious project whilst ensuring there was minimal disruptions to the factory’s business as usual schedule.

The transformation speaks for itself with MOWI Blar Mhor hoping to break records for fish numbers and volume, with a peak of 10kt expected in their busiest months ahead!

As is becoming tradition, this year in lieu of Christmas cards and gifts, Northern Light have made donations to a number of charities, equalling c1.5% of our profit. Some of these fantastic charities and groups include Highland Hospice, Movember Group and Stroke Association.

We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all our clients and colleagues for their continuing support over the last year and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and happy and healthy 2025!
