FLOOD ALERT ⚠️

High tides, strong winds and large waves over the next three days may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible from the morning of Monday 2 February over all high tides to Thursday 5 February inclusive. Areas particularly at risk include Fore Street, Town Quay, Albert Quay and Caffa Mill Car park at Fowey, Quay Street and Recreation ground at Lostwithiel, Polperro Harbour, Quay Road and The Quay at Looe and the B3247 at Seaton. High tides at Plymouth on Monday are at 05:59 and 18:29, times of high water vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide level is 2.76m. Expect tide levels to be between 0.34 and 0.54 metres above tide table level with waves up to 3m. Force 5-7 SE winds are forecast. Further flood alerts and warnings are likely, with tides peaking on Tuesday and Wednesday. We are closely monitoring the situation . Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded . This message will be updated by 3:00PM on 02 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
