We are looking for an experienced Dispatch Co Ordinator to join the team at Genus Plant Sourcing.
🌳 This is a hands on role, which involves assisting in the day to day operation of our busy plant nursery. You will be responsible for the entire order dispatch process, ensuring every order leaves our site on time and complete.
🌳 Customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do, and you must have a skilled eye for spotting any issues and rectifying them.
🌳 You must be a problem solver, able to lead an entire process independently, and be adept at working under pressure and to strict time frames.
🌳 There will be some manual lifting and handling of crates, trolleys and trees, and you may be required to work outside in all weathers. You will be responsible for supporting the operation with the following:
* - co-ordinating outgoing deliveries, including large shrubs, trees, pallets and trolleys,
* - systematically organising daily multi vehicle, multi drop deliveries,
* - assisting with order preparation including preparing and affixing the correct labels to stock,
* - proactively assuring customer orders are leaving site complete and on time,
* - reporting any anomalies or damaged stock through the correct channels,
* - working closely with glasshouse staff to ensure all processes run smoothly and efficiently,
* - liaising with office staff,
* - ensuring the nursery is maintained to an immaculate standard,
* - ensure all Health and Safety standards are met and adhered to,
* - any other duties reasonably expected of you to ensure the operation runs smoothly.
This is a physical role, involving lifting, carrying, bending and turning.
