Fluke dsx5000 testing

Nice to be putting the DSX to good use again this week at a high end car repair centre…..Park Royal.

8 x cat7 data installed and tested to cat6a standards….labelled, and results sent over to the client.

Bought a Hilson pipe bender today and the chap was an experienced works and gave me a whole load of extras with it……including the cutters for various size tube. And a rachet cutter with four sets of dies….

Luckily they will come in handy for a project that came in last week…..

Can’t wait to get threading and bending….

Terminating some Singlemode fibre today with my new table is really rather nice……..plenty of space and very sturdy…..

Great to be putting our new Fluke Fibre heads to use on a warehouse project….Singlemode this time but we do have Multimode heads also…..

A visit to DCW this week cemented some thoughts on where the data centre industry is heading…..Ai seems full steam ahead…hyperscale ideas seem to be catching on…OCP gaining traction…..liquid cooling becoming the norm….resilience rather than redundancy…..

Good to see some familiar faces…..and nice to have met up since then.

We tend to operate in the enterprise space but I always keep abreast of what’s going on in the wider realm.

With a new set of Fluke DSX fibre heads coming next month for a couple of projects who have requested testing of existing fibres, we are set for the future, be that singlemode or multimode.

It’s Bridge Networks Ltd Birthday…….30 !!

30 Years ago in 1996 we formed Bridge Networks Ltd in Harrow…..

Back then I was the apprentice and my Brother Richard was one of the Directors along with Michael Phillips……sadly we lost Michael to ill health quite some time ago now……and Richard retired down to the West Country…again some time ago now….16 years ago.

We still have clients from back in the day and continue to help with their data cabling requirements.

We still design, install, test and document all our installs…..both fibre and copper mediums. All grades of copper and all grades of fibre.

Testing is a whole lot easier for us using state of the art Fluke equipment that sync’s to cloud storage and produces files for emailing within minutes.
And we can test all types of copper and both singlemode and multimode fibre.

Now based in Frinton On Sea we still support clients in the big smoke…
