We know your website doesn’t need replacing every five minutes. But there does come a point where “𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲” has been sitting on the list for a bit too long. 😂

>Maybe you avoid sending people the link.
>Maybe changing one sentence feels way too overwhelming.
>Maybe it looks fine on a laptop, but falls apart on a phone.
>Or maybe it’s still showing something you stopped offering three years ago.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵.

We build websites for small businesses, but we also work with existing ones. Sometimes you need a fresh start. Sometimes you just need better wording, a clearer layout, updated pages, or a mobile version that just works properly.

And if you’re not actually sure what your website needs, 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗼. So, for the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝟱 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 “𝗔𝗨𝗗𝗜𝗧”, we’ll do a 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄.

We’ll have a proper look and send you 𝟯 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁, 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 we think you could improve. 𝗡𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁. 𝗡𝗼 𝗷𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗼𝗻. 𝗡𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵. Just useful advice from a fresh pair of eyes.

Interested? 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 “𝗔𝗨𝗗𝗜𝗧” 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘄, and we’ll message you for your website link.

Social media is brilliant for business.

Until it becomes another job on the never ending list. 😂

You know the one...

“I really should post something.”
“I need to take some photos.”
“What on earth do I even say?”
“I’ll do it tomorrow.”

And somehow tomorrow becomes next week. 👀

The thing is, good social media isn't just about chucking a post on Facebook every now and then so you can say you've done it.

It’s about showing up consistently, getting your business in front of the right people, giving them a reason to remember you and making it easy for them to get in touch when they need what you do.

We look after social media for all sorts of businesses, and no two accounts should look or sound the same. We get to know the business, find its voice, create the content and keep the whole thing ticking along.

While you get on with actually running the business.

Funny how much easier social media becomes when it’s somebody else’s job. 😉

If yours keeps getting bumped to next week, perhaps it’s time to hand it over.

𝗦𝗼... 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗼?

Well, the short answer is in the slides. 👉

The slightly longer answer is that we help small business owners with all the digital stuff that tends to get pushed further and further down the list while they're busy, you know... actually running a business.

Because you were going to sort the website.

You absolutely were going to post something this week.

And you're fairly sure someone once told you SEO was important.

But then a customer called, three emails came in, an invoice needed chasing, something stopped working for absolutely no reason and suddenly it's Thursday afternoon and you're eating lunch at 3:17pm. 😂

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻.

Yes, we do the social media, websites and SEO stuff. But what we really do is get to know you and your business, then help with the bits that are taking up too much time, headspace or both.

We're also there for the “can I just run something past you?” messages, the half formed ideas, the “is this worth doing?” conversations and the thing you've stared at for so long that the word website no longer looks like a real word.

Sometimes you need someone to actually do the marketing.

Sometimes you need someone to say “no, you absolutely do not need to start a TikTok account.” 😂

Sometimes you just need another pair of eyes and a bit of a plan.

Usually, it's a mixture of all three.

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. 𝗪𝗲'𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀.

Seems like a fair arrangement.

So... 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁: 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮, 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗘𝗢? 👇

Apparently, if you're going to run a business together, you should probably introduce yourselves occasionally. 👋

So, hello. We're Matt & Gem.

Husband and wife. Parents to three girls. Business partners. And, despite spending an alarming amount of time together, still speaking. 😂

We started We Are Neidín because we knew there were brilliant small business owners out there trying to do absolutely everything themselves.

The actual work. The emails. The social media. The website they haven't updated since 2022. Trying to work out what SEO actually wants from them. And approximately 738 other things that somehow become part of running a business.

That's where we come in.

These days you'll mostly find us working on social media, building and improving websites, getting stuck into SEO, or being the people at the other end of a “can I just run something past you?” message.

And that last bit is actually a pretty big part of what we do.

We're not interested in becoming a huge agency with account managers, departments and twelve people copied into an email.

We like being small.

When you work with Neidín, you work with us. We get to know you, your business, what you're trying to achieve and, usually, all the random ideas you've had at 11pm too. 😂

Sometimes we're the people doing the work. Sometimes we're the sounding board. Usually we're a bit of both.

And we rather like it that way. ❤️

So that's us.

Matt & Gem

And because we've just introduced ourselves, we'd love to know who's actually following along here too. Tell us who you are and what you do below.

31/08/2026

𝟴𝟰 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀.

That's how long it's been since we last posted on our own social media.

In our defence, it's approximately day 4,827 of the summer holidays, we have three children at home and the smallest one has recently discovered crawling.

Nothing is safe.

Not the cat food.
Not the wires.
Not our sanity.
And, apparently, not our content schedule either. 😂

We've also reached the stage of the holidays where perfectly acceptable breakfasts have included a doughnut... and, on another occasion, breadsticks with Nutella or even marshmallows and Cheerios.

We're choosing our battles at this point. 😬

The slightly embarrassing bit is that while our own page has been gathering dust, we've actually been rather busy doing some really good stuff for everyone else.

Social media that's getting businesses noticed.

Websites being built and improved.

SEO that's getting results.

And lots of conversations, ideas and "can I just run something past you?" moments with the brilliant businesses we work with.

So we've decided it's probably time we started practising what we preach.

𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸. 👋

New plan. More posts. Less "we'll do ours next week."

Although the children don't go back to school until next week, so perhaps don't hold us to that just yet. 😂

Matt & Gem

𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀... how are we all doing at this stage of the summer holidays? Still making wholesome memories, or are we just aiming for everyone to be fed, alive and vaguely dressed at this point? 😂👇

One of the biggest myths about running your own business?

“One day it’ll all be done.”

It won’t.

There will always be another email, another social post, another enquiry, and another thing that Meta has decided to move for absolutely no reason.

Meanwhile…

🍻 Your mates are at the pub.
⚽ The football’s on.
🌳 The countryside is calling.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 The family want your attention.

As a small business owner myself, I know how easy it is to keep saying, “I’ll just finish this one thing…”

Then suddenly it’s 9pm.

That’s exactly why Gem and I started We Are Neidín.

We help small businesses with social media, websites and online visibility, so they can spend less time behind a laptop and more time doing the things they actually enjoy.

If your to-do list is stealing too many evenings and weekends, send me a message. Let’s have a chat.

📱 𝗕𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗢𝗪𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗦 📱

Be honest...

When was the last time you posted on social media because you wanted to, rather than because guilt finally got the better of you? 😅

If your page is gathering dust, your Instagram hasn't seen daylight for weeks, and "I'll sort it next week" has become a monthly tradition, you're definitely not alone.

Running a business is hard enough without trying to think of captions, create graphics, research hashtags, reply to comments, and somehow still have time left to actually do the work you're being paid for.

That's where we come in.

✅ Social Media Management
✅ Content Creation
✅ Content Planning
✅ Captions & Hashtag Research
✅ Community Engagement
✅ Practical Strategy & Support

We help small businesses stay visible online without social media becoming another job on an already overflowing to-do list.

We've recently opened up space for a couple of new clients, and once those spaces are gone, they're gone.

If you'd like to spend less time worrying about what to post and more time running your business, drop us a message.

Current office conditions… ☀️

Things business owners say during a heatwave:

“I’ll do that later.”

“It’s too hot to think.”

“I’ll sort social media next week.”

“I really need to update the website…”

And then somehow… summer disappears and the to-do list is still staring back at you 😅

Honestly? We hear versions of this all the time.

Not because people don’t care.

But because running a business is already a full-time job before you add in social media, websites, SEO, content, updates, captions, and all the other bits that quietly get pushed down the list.

That’s often where we come in.

Helping businesses stay visible, consistent, and moving forward… while you get on with the thing you’re actually brilliant at.

For now though… we’re off to enjoy the sunshine while pretending we’re definitely not thinking about work 👀☀️

𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹… 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿.

But if you know us, you’ll know family has always sat at the heart of everything we do. And over the last few months, we made a conscious decision to step back from our own socials for a little while as we welcomed our beautiful third daughter, Sadie, into the world.

And honestly? We wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Whilst our own page may have been a little quieter, behind the scenes it’s been anything but.

Client campaigns. Website builds. Content creation. Strategy sessions. Supporting brilliant businesses. Helping brands stay visible, relevant, and moving forward.

If anything, the last few months have reminded us of something we say to clients all the time…

Consistency matters.
But so do boundaries.
So does family.
And so does having the right people around you when business doesn’t slow down.

That’s why so many businesses choose to outsource their marketing, not just for the work itself, but for the trust, consistency, and headspace it creates.

So, consider this our slightly overdue hello as a family of five… a proper introduction to our newest little team member… and a quiet reminder that we’re still here, building, creating, and ready for what’s next.

Here’s to the next chapter.

We’re not here to reinvent the wheel.
We’re here to keep it turning.

Being a Virtual Assistant isn’t just about ticking boxes on a to-do list. It’s about making sure the right boxes get ticked in the first place.

That means:
→ Setting up systems that actually work for you
→ Keeping on top of the admin you avoid
→ Taking care of the details so you can stay creative

It’s less about “look what we can do” and more about “look what you can do now.”
