It's silver Sunday and here is a little selection of the fantastic collection of lots we have going into our sale. From a stunning punch bowl to a miniature of the Flying Horse of Gansu by Georg Jensen, we have got it all. A large collection of cutlery from Mappin and Webb and cased dressing sets from a bygone age. Lot 77 in our sale on the 29th July is this unmarked sapphire and diamond stick pin along with an additional stick pin. The pin was given to the vendors grandfather by James Dugdale whom he worked for, the pin purportedly being given to James Dugdale by Prince Edward VIII. James Dugdale's mother was Lady Eva Dugdale (nee Greville) who was Lady in Waiting to Queen Mary (of Teck). With an estimate of £150-200 this beautiful lot and it's provenance is bound to do well.

This set of silver gilt cruet was made by Stuart Devlin, (Australian-British, 1931-2018) it is decorated with half fillagree and comprises on a salt and pepper. Stuart Devlin was an Australian metalworker and he specialised in silver and gold, he became well know for doing limited edition collections and designed coins for countries all over the world. This beautiful pair are lot 273 in our auction on the 29th July with an estimate of £200-300.

This lot just speaks for its self, absolutely stunning 💎 A diamond set articulated pendant and earrings, all probably 19th century and in a fitted case. The diamond encrusted set includes a large old cut pear shaped diamond in the necklace and has a total diamond weight for all pieces of approximately 9.99 carats. Lot 63 will be going under the hammer in one weeks time with an estimate of £12,000-15,000

Another our of loves here is period jewellery, pieces are so delicate and beautifully made and have stood the test of time. What looks more beautiful on an outfit than a split pearl brooch or a ruby and pearl crescent brooch. Opals are beautiful and precious gemstones, they have at times have been given a bad rap but we love them, the flashes of colour that pop out, then team them up with some sparkly diamonds or pearls and look at the results, stunning.
