The National Women’s Network history goes as far back as 1981 when it was established by Irene Harris in London. At that time there were no clubs for women in senior management, and Irene was sick of entering through the tradesmen’s entrance when she had business meetings. Business Networking is all about getting to know the people behind the other businesses in your local area. Meeting people you

may be able to do business with. There are so many different groups, each with their own format and structure, that sometimes it can be overwhelming. Deciding which North East Networking group is right for you will make life so much easier. Women’s Networking North East
Network North East is localised. Although we are part of the National Women’s Network, Network North East is our local divison. We are run by and for women in business in the North East of England. We know that the best type of networking isn’t just a 60 second pitch and then sitting quietly while we are sold at by other people.

We had a fabulous social evening at Arms in Lamesely last night. The buffet was delicious and there was sooooo much! Plenty to take home too.

As all the company was brilliant, such a fabulous, supportive group 😍

We've made a note of dates for our 2026 meet ups - these are subject to change - we need to speak to the venues first at the moment, consider all the dates and locations just to be pencilled in!
