31 degrees on a bank holiday Monday? Officially entering “we need a paddling pool” season. 😅💦

We hate to be ‘that’ company…but heatwaves actually create a huge spike in plastic waste — especially drinks bottles, food packaging and BBQ bits 🍔🥤

Recycling Myth Busted 👀

“Paper straws are better for the environment than plastic…”

It’s not that simple. 🥤

Whether it’s paper or plastic — a huge amount still ends up in incineration, not actually recycled.

Which means:
♻️ No real recycling benefit
♻️ Energy used either way
♻️ Minimal impact on the bigger picture

And when you look at the real data around sea life and pollution… straws aren’t the main issue. 🐠

It’s the bigger waste streams that matter.
