Whilst working for the Royal Voluntary Service, I discovered there was a need in the area to support people who are isolated and also, who may require assistance due to permanent or temporary mobility issues. I have worked within support services and charities for a number of years and enjoy seeing the positive benefits that befriending or a weekly outing can provide.
