⚽🌍 BNI Dickens was well and truly in the World Cup spirit this morning!

Members embraced the theme brilliantly, weaving football and country references into their 60-second presentations, making for a fun and engaging meeting with plenty of creativity on display.

A big thank you to our featured speaker, Anthony Zwozdiak from Zeus Accident Repair, who gave us a fascinating insight into the attention to detail, craftsmanship and quality standards that underpin every repair carried out by his team. With sites across Rochester, Sittingbourne and Dartford, Zeus Accident Repair supports commercial vehicles, fleet operators and private motorists alike, delivering exceptional results and getting vehicles back on the road safely.

Another fantastic meeting packed with connections, referrals and plenty of team spirit. Well played, everyone! ⚽👏

What can you learn in 10 minutes at BNI Dickens?

This morning, Brian Burr from Ta**us Locks showed us.

Brian gave members a hands-on introduction to lock picking and demonstrated how quickly an experienced locksmith can open a lock without a key. Watching him work was a real eye-opener – and proof that 17 years in the trade counts for a lot!

Alongside another productive networking session, it was a great opportunity to learn more about one of our trusted local members and the specialist service he provides.

🏃‍♂️ An Incredible Challenge for an Incredible Cause 🐝

Everyone at BNI Dickens is proud to get behind our member, Jack Ivory, who has taken on an extraordinary challenge this month — running a marathon every single day throughout the month to raise funds for The Bee Kind Project.

The Bee Kind Project was established by Aimee Langwith and provides vital support for mental health and wellbeing within our local community. The work they do changes lives, making Jack’s commitment all the more inspiring.

Running 26.2 miles once is an achievement. Doing it every day for a month requires remarkable determination, resilience, and dedication to helping others.

We’d love our network, friends, family, and local businesses to rally behind Jack as he takes on this challenge. Whether it’s through a donation, sharing his fundraising page, or simply offering words of encouragement, every bit of support makes a difference.

Great BNI meeting today with plenty of conversations, connections, and business being passed around the room. Always good to see members supporting each other and creating opportunities together.

A big highlight was the excellent 10-minute presentation from James Hartley at Balanced Life Accountants. James used a fun and interactive game to demonstrate how making blind business decisions can impact the longevity and success of a business. A really engaging way to show the importance of understanding your numbers and making informed decisions.

Great insights, lots of energy, and another reminder of the value of surrounding yourself with the right business community.

Another fantastic morning at BNI Dickens today!

To shake things up, members swapped their usual 60-second presentations with another member. The result? Plenty of laughs, some creative interpretations of each other's businesses, and a great reminder of why regular 1-2-1 meetings are so important. After all, it's much easier to refer someone when you truly understand what they do and who their ideal client is.

Our 10-minute presentation was delivered by Jordy Robins from Smart Office Solution, who gave us an insight into the world of print management. While many businesses only think about printers when something goes wrong, Jordy demonstrated the value of having the right solution in place from the start.

What stood out most was Smart Office Solutions' commitment to building strong client relationships and tailoring solutions to individual business needs. Whether a company manages its printing requirements entirely in-house or is looking for a fully managed print solution, Jordy and the team focus on finding the most effective and cost-efficient approach for each client.

A great presentation and a reminder that the best business solutions often come from taking the time to understand the unique needs of every customer.

Great meeting at BNI Dickens this morning! Huge thanks to Chris Elmore from Elmore and Son Electrical for an excellent 10-minute presentation. From some of the stranger requests they’ve had over the years to showcasing the fantastic quality of their work, it was both entertaining and insightful. Plenty of great referral opportunities too! Looking forward to another brilliant meeting next week.
