I’ve been preparing for my daughter’s return tomorrow after a LONG 7 weeks. 😅
Since she grows out of everything as soon as she looks at it, we’re forever buying multiple sizes of things so we don’t get caught short.
Which means we have A LOT of clothing to sieve through. 🤦♀️
So, because I’m someone who likes to be able to visually find things quickly, I decided to package and colour-code the packaging thanks to my Silhouette machine and a lot of ink until I find an easier solution.
Need the next size up?
Find the colour.
Grab it.
Done.
Simple.
Although her wardrobe now looks like a Primark warehouse. 😂
But it actually made me laugh because I’m forever saying that I don’t just fix a problem for businesses - I look for better ways of doing things so they’re easier, quicker or more efficient.
And apparently, I’m now doing it with my daughter’s clothes. 😂
It’s also got me wondering where else I could implement little systems like this around the house to make life easier.
Anyway, I digress…
