We’re delighted to have been recognised at The Herald Scottish Impact Awards 2026.

The judges highlighted our work to extend the life of technology assets, reduce waste and deliver measurable environmental benefits through practical and scalable circular solutions.

The award also continues a special journey for our team. In 2025, we won the inaugural Climate Action Champion Award as WEEE Scotland. To return this year under our new Circulus brand and win the Sustainable Innovation Award is fantastic recognition of the work our team continues to deliver.

From circular pilots to industrial scale. ♻️

A brilliant day at the Scotland Manufacturing & Supply Chain Conference & Exhibition, where our Managing Director Gerry Docherty joined industry and research experts to discuss the future of circular manufacturing.

The conversation explored what needs to happen to take circular solutions from promising ideas to commercially viable solutions at scale, with Gerry sharing some of Circulus’ real-world experience and our collaborative work with NMIS and REACT.

From replacement to recovery.

Since 2014, Circulus has partnered with Costa Coffee to develop a circular solution for its self-service coffee machines.

What started with repairing one touchscreen component has grown into a programme that now refurbishes and redeploys more than 32,000 components every year, covering around 72 different component types.

And the impact is significant: keeping those components in circulation helps Costa avoid around 747 tonnes of CO₂e emissions annually, while reducing new-buy expenditure and strengthening supply chain resilience.
