Glen Appin of Scotland Limited is a privately owned, independent company which was originally formed as a cloth manufacturer and converter in 1903 under the name Bulloch, Cowell & Company. In the 1960s it became a limited company and entered the Scottish gift and textil
e market. Soon after the brand 'Glen Appin of Scotland' was launched and all our products have been sold under this name since 1968. After a rebranding, the introduction of our new colour scheme and logo, the brand name became more familiar to our customers and so the company changed its name to Glen Appin of Scotland Limited in 2014. The company supplies retailers in Scotland, the UK and around the world with Harris Tweed bags and accessories, Scottish clothing and gifts. Our distinctive Highland Cow logo can be seen in a wide variety of retail outlets from small village shops to castles. We have not sold directly to the public but are planning to offer a small selection of clearance items soon. We supply a large number of retailers and many have an online presence.
